In the fields of chemistry, analytics, and chemical process technology it has become more and more important to collect and document data in the laboratory. Regarding development processes in particular, the measurement data acquisition has become an inevitable part in understanding and optimizing the reaction and characteristics of new products using measuring technology. As a consequence, an ongoing product monitoring is relatively easy to accomplish.

In this regard, the Ahlborn Company features an extensive product portfolio, which also includes the visualization and saving of existing sensors. It is not unusual to store data with up to more than 100 measuring points. Of course, it is also possible to perform smaller processes with simpler devices. Those pocket-sized measuring devices are easy to use and additionally feature automatic sensor detection. This enables the laboratory technician to attach completely different sensors to the device and to start the measuring operation directly without further tedious programming. The devices feature an internal memory, which can be visualized via a software program and read out via an USB data cable. Thanks to the intelligent ALMEMO® plug, memory sticks with integrated SD card can be used as storage medium as well. To do so Ahlborn offers a free configuration program as well as an online software (M. Zanetti).
